When you want to experience the archipelago every day of the year
Vaxholm, just an hour by archipelago boat from Stockholm, is often called the capital of the archipelago. This may be due to Vaxholm's history and the fact that here you go ashore in a vibrant archipelago village with authentic restaurants and quaint shops, while experiencing the magnificent archipelago nature with hiking trails, canoeing routes and fishing waters just around the corner. And perhaps best of all - you can do it all year round.
