Archipelago Boat Day

We celebrate the beginning of summer on the quay at Söderhamnen with a market, music and folk dancing. The historic archipelago boats arrive in a procession.

Join the archipelago boats already from Strömkajen in Stockholm (ticket required, more info on how to book here). In Vaxholm, the festivities start at 17.00 and end at 21.30 when the last boat has left the quay. The live band Öbor will be playing and Sjöräddningen will be on hand to show off their boat.

If you want to see the cortege from the water, M/S Långvik departs from the quay in Vaxholm at 18.45 to meet up with the boats.

20.50 Flag ceremony and flag hoisting
21.25 The steamships blow for departure
