With burnt almonds, crafts, mulled wine and fir trees, together we get the Christmas feelings going. Santa is coming, are you?

Hungry during the day?

At the market you will find coffee, mulled wine, waffles, sausages, and crepes if you are hungry during the day. If you want more cooked food, Vaxholm's restaurants welcome you into the warmth.

Activities for children and young people in Norrhamnen, 12 - 15

For those with a child's mind, in addition to the Christmas market stalls, there is also an activity area in Norrhamnen. Here you can, for example, compete in hobbyhorse jumping, take a look at the fire engine (12-14) and the sea rescue boat (13-15) and challenge your friends to see who can hit the floorball goal best. Younger children can also try their luck in the fish pond. In Hembygdsgården, a little further out on the headland, there are simple Christmas crafts (11-13). There is also a simple coffee service and a warming hut.

How to go to the Christmas market

Since Vaxholm is an island and the Christmas market occupies a large part of the city center, it can be difficult to both park and get around by car in the city center during the weekend. We therefore recommend that you travel here primarily by bus or boat . Bus 670 runs several times every hour, also Waxholmsbolaget's boats operate regularly during the weekend.

If you come with your own car, choose to park outside the city center. There are more parking lots to choose from and you can easily walk down to the center or use the SL bus 670 as a transfer from the parking lot.
