Art exhibition - Lisbeth Olofsdotter and Kerstin Mattson

Kerstin's abstract inituitive painting meets Lisbeth's animal host in their joint exhibition at Roddarhuset.

Lisbeth Olofsdotter has been a full-time artist for 4 years. After 25 years in the PR industry with art as a hobby, the time has now come to seriously devote myself to my greatest interest.

"For 10 years I painted porcelain, which gave me a good sense of detail and color. Now it will be both acrylic and watercolor painting. For this exhibition, the theme has been animals with both feeling and humor. Painting is a game after all."

Previous exhibitions have been in Madrid, Brussels and several galleries in Stockholm. Tex Affordable Affairs in the fall of 2022.

Kerstin Mattson was born in Boden in 1945, where she spent her early years. Nowadays she lives and works in Stockholm in Vallentuna.

"I have been painting since 1998 when circumstances in life gave me access to my own time and the opportunity to discover the joy of creating. I lived in the countryside for fourteen years. Inspired by the nature around me, I found the peace and time to develop my painting and many of my pictures came about there. The images I paint come about through a meditative, intuitive process where I fully enter into the creation. The challenge is to follow the process and see what the image is meant to be. Sometimes after many layers and a long time; sometimes with a quick and strong energy."
