Art exhibition - Jenny Grant and Julia Bergström

Jenny Grant creates her energetic art in an exciting process where the images emerge while she paints. She works with mixed media; acrylics, paper, fabric, wax, black, oil crayons, charcoal etc. With layer upon layer she creates great depth and much detail. Her art often creates feelings of calm even though they are colorful and full of energy. When Jenny creates, it is as if she is in a dialog with the painting and often this dialog results in a message or an insight. Jenny rarely shares this insight with the viewer, but lets the viewer conduct this dialog themselves to find their own messages in their own feelings and interpretations.

Jenny has her large studio north of Stockholm. There she exhibits her art and holds painting workshops for both private individuals and companies. Jenny's motto is to dare to create and be creative, to let go of all demands for results and to turn off all criticism. Jenny also holds online courses where she has inspired thousands of people in over 30 countries.

Jenny's art is represented in many places in the world and she has had exhibitions in both Sweden and abroad. Jenny paints on commission both on canvas and directly on the wall. She also paints live at various events.

Julia Bergström is a ceramicist working in Vallentuna. The artistic interest has followed her since high school and further at art schools. The focus on ceramics began in the early 90s. Over the past 10 years, the raku firing technique has been added to Julia's life. In it, she has found expressions of the fragile and transient, such as veins or wrinkles on the skin of creatures, preferably combined with beautifully rusty, decadent details!

After the pandemic, Julia felt she needed hope, color and joy. So a world of imaginative, slightly comical woodland creatures with human expressions awaits the visitor.

Maybe you can sense influences from Alice in Wonderland or It's a Wonderful Life?
