Autumn holiday weekend at Vaxholms Fästnings Museum

Dive into a world of adventure with Donald Cannonball and his friends! Challenge yourself with Rat Rasmus' clever clues, watch exciting children's movies, become a master at uncovering "Fake News", discover the Thunder Dragon, the Sugar Witch's secret and much more.

We have designed our activities to suit children aged around 4-15 years. We offer two tracks: one for the youngest adventurers and one with trickier questions for the older kids. Let your creativity flow in our children's workshop, where you will find, among other things, Kalle Kanonkula's drawing school. 

This is a free drop-in activity for children, and children are always admitted free to the museum. For older children, we also recommend our fascinating exhibition on "Animals at War". Come and enjoy a weekend filled with experiences at the fortress, we look forward to welcoming you.

The museum opens shortly after the boat arrives at Kastellet and closes 15 minutes before the last boat departure. The crossing between Kastellet and Vaxholm takes about 5 minutes.

Adults: 100 kr. Pensioners: 80 kr. Children up to 18 years: free.

SL Season tickets are valid on board.Single ticket: SEK 61 for adults, SEK 39 for pensioners, students and young people (7-19 years).
